YELLOW DAFFODILS CARD

                Hello my friends!!!
Today I made a monochromatic yellow card...Recently I got a stamp set from Jane's Doodles "Daffodils",and I fell in love with it.I stamped all the images, color them with my markers and pencils  and fussy cut them. Then I use the second new goody from Jane's...another stamp set(retired one from my local store)"Geometric patterns",and with the honey comb border stamp stamped the background with squeezed lemonade distress  ink. Then I made a frame...I cut the circle and with  smaller scallop circle cut out the center and made the frame.I don't have a stitched circle die,so I made myself the stitches with needle. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I stamp it in Memento black ink.
The inspiration for monochromatic card come from 'Fantasy Stampers Challenge'.-# 61 - Monochrome.

CARDS FOR MY MOM

HELLO MY FRIENDS!!!
Sunny day here in Croatia, lot's of colors around me,so I made two rainbow cards, and both of them are for my Mom.She is lively, social, caring women...and very smart too,so I thought rainbow colors perfectly shows her character.
Both of the card I inked with distress inks(except the green) .After I inked the panel I mounted it on crafty foam sheet and then die cut...butterfly with Sizix "Magical butterfly" and "linked hearts" from Paper Smooches. On the die cut peaces I add some foam double sided tape,so it can more pop up from the card.I printed the sentiments..."Lucky to have you" is freebe from Paper  Smooches, and "just for you,MOM" is my sentiment made in word(I don't have any mother's sentiment, yet).
Finished pannel I ounted on a white card base.
With the butterfly card I participate at:SSS MONDAY CHALLENGE-Challenge: Butterfly Beauty

ATSM #190 CHALLENGE-PHOTO INSPIRATION

Hello my friends!!!!
It is time for another challenge week at  Addicted To Stamps ,and this week the theme is Photo inspiration

and sponsor is

with the prize of $15 gift certificate

So to have a chance to win this prize, make and share your creation inspired by this photo.
We would love to see your creation.

My card was inspired by the butterfly, off course and the colors.Butterflies are my favorite images.,and the shades of pink are perfect for this time of year, spring, when everything starts to bloom. To make my card I use "stencil monoprint" technique.I recently learn that technique and LOVE it...I inked my butterfly with  milled lavender and worn lipstick  in stripes, spray it with water and press to the watercolor paper.Leave for a few seconds and lift the stencil...and here is my image...Just a note, when you inking the stencil you inked the wrong side of stencil. To give some dimension,I used word stamp, also inspired by photo, and partial  stamped at the top and at the bottom. Add the white  sequins and than I add a few dots of  transparent gel paste with my dots stencil. Finally touch to my card was adding perfect pearls to my butterfly.

With this card I also participate at-

Two cards with one butterfly

Hello my friends!!!
I LOVE butterfly's and recently I bought these gorgeous stamp from Paper Poetry and I use it a lot.So when I saw at HLS April Mixed Media Challenge-WINGS

I knew it  I will use it again. At the start I didn't know how to begin, what media to use and then I saw at Just Us Girls #338 - Trend Week-smooshing

and decide this is it.And here are my cards(of course I did two cards straight away)
I started with smooshing at the both cards and used the same inks-broken china, frayed burlap and chipped sapphire and let it dry.At the first card(up) I just stamp the butterfly with chipped sapphire...with the same ink I stamp chevron  border and mounted all together to the navy blue card base (12x12cm) and add stripe with white embossed sentiment. For the finally touch I add some white and blue sequins.
On the second card, after smoosing,I stamp with script stamp at the top and bottom ,use flower stencil and inked with two inks(with a little slide of).I stamped the butterfly and do simply coloring(the background is busy). To the main panel, at side, I add chevron stripe stamped with two inks. The sentiment is heat embossed with silver EP. I needed something on my butterfly,so I decide to add pearls to his body.
Other challenges to participate.CREATIVE FINGERS-Challenge #106 & Winners #104
