STAMPING WITH EMBOSSING FOLDER

Hello my friends!!!!

Stamping with embossing folder!Did you ever try???How fun is this technique and how beautiful backgrounds you can make.I try it for the very first time and LOVE it.I use ScrapBerry's embossing folder and I inked it and spray with mini minister(since I don't have liquid ink yet) and press on cardstock and look how cool effect you get.This card is HLS February CAS Challenge--

For finishing my card I die cut butterfly out of moosgummi and shrink it.From glitter moosgummi I die cut birthday(Clearly Besotted) and the word happy are glittery stickers.

And here is my card!!

I use Jane's Doodles Pretty Peonies stamp set once again,because I just LOVE IT,especially this big,bold peony...gorgeous.I love big flowers backgrounds,but I don't have yet,so I made my with lots of masking and with  Memento Tuxedo black ink.I use the central flower as a focal point and as a background.I decide to leave the background uncolored and colored the focal flower with my Faber Castell  pencils.The happy is from the same stamp set and I embossed it in silver(I run out with  white powder) and the birthday word is die from Clearly Besotted and die cut it three times,for the dimension.

FEBRUARY CHALLENGE AT GDS

Hello my friends!!!

This cute bunny is from  Progressive Monthly Challenge - February 2016 at Gerda Steiner...I colored him with markers and lay him at some pattern paper i had in stash.I make grass myself,don't have a die yet.Add to the banner some texture with white gel pen,and punch some flowers from pattern paper.

Today I use one flower image(Viva Decor) and make three cards.All three are one layer cards,and CAS  cards,only different's are oval background.I used two Stamperia stamps,and the third time I just sponged with light blue ink.Add three different sentiments,but from the same stamp set(Jane's Doodles-Pretty Peonies),and for mini touch add some dark red sequin's.I colored the flower with markers.

HELLO MY FRIENDS!!!

My new goodies from PAPER SMOOCHES  arrived recently...I've been order two beautiful dies set-Linked Hearts Die and -Gift Tags 3 Dies and as they arrived I got sick...angina.Luckily my temperature is gone so I can play.I saw the PS February challenge- FUN & CUTE

  and LOVED the theme,so I made card for the challenge.I print out a free digital  owl  stamp and the brunch and thee sentiment on a stitched tag and color them with my finecolour markers and inked the edges with peach memento ink.From the red cardstock I die cut linked hearts two times and the small heart from Gift tags 3 die set.In stash I had watercolored peace and I mount it all on it.On the top of tag I add some red ribbon.Under the main panel I add red paper with stripe of black and white to give some contrast.On the edge of white  card base I stamped solid hearts .

Hello my friends!!!

 Second post today!!Yayy!!!I think the gorgeous sun,here in Croatia,bring out my mojo for crafting today.While it last I am going to make cards and finally get in a couple of challenges.On ADDICTED TO CAS-Challenge #81 Bloom is theme,so I decide to use,once again,the gorgeous Jane's Doodles stamp set "Pretty Peonies".I gold embossed the flower and water color it in a three shade's of pink.The sentiment that perfect fit's to this challenge is from the same stamp set,and I embossed it in gold.Add a gold stripe,just for a little accent,and mount it on a burgundy cards base.And finally touch are small pink splatter's .

WHITE CAS CARD

Hello my friends!!

Even my stile is not to make a CAS cards,I was attempt by the theme at 5th Birthday "Less is More" ..."White on white-(Accents in metallic or B/W are perfectly acceptable)"...

As I saw the theme,I knew what my card was going to be.I LOVE white and gold combination ,it gives a special elegance to the card.So,I embossed the white panel with hearts embossing folder(Darice),cut two gold hearts and chain them,and add a delicate gold  love die cut from Memory box.Mount the white panell on some foam adhesive and than on the card base.Quick,clean and simply.

I make a quick post...This adorable cutie is from All Dressed Up digital stamps,and I LOVE him.I myself have a dog and I couldn't resist and had to make a card with this cutie.I color him with my fineliner markers,put some foam adhesive to pop him up and stick to polka dot heart .Behind the heart  I add three stripes of pattern paper,and one from vellum,just to give some softness,and punch the hearts from the pattern paper too.Add a few sequins and the sentiment is from Jane's Doodle stamp set(Pretty Peonies).

Hi I am Wendy Burns I live in Nottingham UK with my husband and two children who have been the inspiration behind the characters, in particular my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with blogging and trends. I work predominantly within the textile children’s wear market, fashion and interiors.

I trained as a textile designer and although my work is digital based, I love to retain that hand drawn /sewn feel which I hope comes across in my artwork.

Digital stamps is a new challenge for me and the opportunity to work with the All Dressed Up Team and has been very exciting, in particular the creative way my characters have been given individual personalities by the designers .

All Dressed Up is a newly launched blog with an enthusiastic team who are passionate about stamping. The coordinators Anne Lise and Bettina along with an amazing design team are also known as The Dressy Girls.

My inspiration from the photo is to make a pink card with cupcakes and hearts.

First I use my mini heart stencil and inked it with pale pink ink.I cut a two hearts,one pink and one white and embossed it (ScrapBerry's  embossing folder).From the stamp set "Afternoon Tea"(also ScrapBerry's) I stamped two cupcakes and colored them with my watercolor pencils.The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I embossed it in silver on vellum,make three banner's(vellum,white and pink) and all together set on the card.
